Announcement for the Start of Dhū al-Ḥijjah & Eid ul-Adha 1447 AH

Asalamualaikum,

On Sunday, 17 May 2026, we received reports of a positive sighting for the Hilal of Dhū al-Ḥijjah in the UK. Therefore, the month of Dhū al-Qaʿdah has ended and the month of Dhū al-Ḥijjah has commenced.

Accordingly, Eid ul-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 In-Shaa-Allah. We will communicate the Eid salah details nearer the time In-Shaa-Allah.
